A big part of your customers will be complicated, irrational, and easy to disappoint. But they still need someone to play the hero and solve their problems.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can catalog your business customers into three categories:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifestoryresearch.com\/insight-ideas\/advocates-or-antagonists\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" trust advocates, neutrals, and antagonists (opens in a new tab)\"> trust advocates, neutrals, and antagonists<\/a>. If you don\u2019t want advocates and neutrals to become antagonists, you need to take action.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>But the real villain in the movie isn\u2019t your customer.<\/strong> The real criminals are poor management, wasted effort, lost opportunity, needless risk, among other things.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Some of the biggest enemies that your customer service department will face are:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Not having an answer to the customer\u2019s questions<\/li><li>Transferring calls to the wrong department<\/li><li>Being flooded with service tickets<\/li><li>Low-resolution times&nbsp;<\/li><li>Failing to understand what your customers want<\/li><li>Customers want a discount you can\u2019t give<\/li><li>Customers want a feature you won\u2019t or can\u2019t add<\/li><li>Having to serve multiple customers at the same time<\/li><li>Dealing with a service outage or a crisis <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The list goes on.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being your customer&#8217;s hero might sound exaggerated to you, but it is not far from true.
